Project Leader Professor Osamu Saito (Institute of Economic Research, Hitotsubashi University) The aim of this project is to conduct leading-edge research in the social sciences by integrating the compilation of a comprehensive database, statistical theory and empirical analysis. This is a five-year project set up in 2003 and sponsored by the Ministry of Education.
